About me
In order to become an electrician, I completed my 4 year apprenticeship in 1996, achieving Approved Electrician status with N.G. Bailey, a leading UK contracting electrical firm in 1998. My time with the company involved working on many different types of projects;
Airports, football stadiums, large commercial office complexes, food warehouses, distribution centres, food manufacturing facilities & corporate banking offices.
My achieved qualifications include:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- C&G C Course (Technicians grade)
- ONC BTEC Building Services
- NICEIC Approved Contractor Status
- Part P Registration
The variety of work developed my skill set and provided a fine foundation for the subsequent years to follow.
After a number of years working for a charity; involving small installation and maintenance works, I was set up to head out on my own and cater for individual clients. This I have to admit is the most satisfying part of the work. Working along with the customer, understanding their requirements, fulfilling their needs and completing a project with a delighted client at the end, makes my job worthwhile. I enjoy the outcome of a successful project and that’s what every client deserves - a guaranteed quality installation.
